What is Lakuchat?
Lakuchat is an AI sales assistant for WhatsApp, made for small online brands in Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore. It answers product questions, recommends items, builds the cart, sends a payment link and confirms the order, all inside the chat. A person from your team can take over at any time.
Which languages does it speak?
English, Bahasa Malaysia, Bahasa Indonesia and Chinese, including messages that mix them. It replies in the customer's own language.
Will the AI make up prices or promise discounts?
No. Prices, stock, delivery fees and totals always come from your catalog and are calculated by the system, not by the AI. Discount requests, complaints and refunds are handed to you.
How do my customers pay?
Through a payment link from your own Billplz (Malaysia), Xendit (Indonesia) or Stripe account, or by scanning your own DuitNow or QRIS code. The money goes straight to you; Lakuchat never holds your customers' payments.
Does it work with my WhatsApp number?
It uses Meta's official WhatsApp Business Platform. You connect a WhatsApp Business number through Meta's own sign-up, and we help you set it up during the pilot.
Does it work with Shopify?
Yes. Sync your products from Shopify, or upload a spreadsheet with sizes, colours, prices and stock.
Can I take over a conversation?
Yes. Every chat is visible live in your dashboard and you can take over with one tap. The assistant also hands over by itself when it is unsure or the customer asks for a person.
How much does it cost?
